Thirty years into this business. That can make me feel old … and maybe I’m getting old too! Just think about all the good things we’ve all likely learned over the past 30 years. Some amazing things. Some scary things. Some useless things.
Now, consider how we might all put on the ‘blinders’ after spending so long doing something. It’s not unusual to get to a point where you think you just might have the right answer to almost everything. Success breeds confidence. You just have to make sure that confidence doesn’t get in the way.
Remember … EGO IS THE ENEMY!
So, after all this time, I’m happy to say that this old dog has learned a neat new trick. And, that’s thanks to working with a great new partner who has an amazing tech solution. I’m not one to get too excited about technology solutions, but as you’ll read below, this one has me amazed.
What’s so neat about this solution is that it perfectly weaves with our solutions aimed at improving both the staff and customer experience. It’s the missing piece in getting staff to perform the way we need them too.
How do I know it works? Well, how would you like a 500 to 700% increase in sales? That’s not a typo. It’s the actual results we’ve produced working together for one of our clients. I’m as shocked as you likely are.
Now, don’t get too excited thinking we could drive up your sales by that same amount. A lot of things had to go exactly right to get that bump in sales. But, there’s no doubt that in the right circumstances, we could move the sales number up for you too.
What I’ve learned is that what we do works. But that when combined with some new learnings, works even better.
The point isn’t to sell you on quickly calling me to find out what we’re doing (although I know many of you will).
