FUN!

If your training for your front-line team isn’t fun, I bet it isn’t working.  One of the key elements to effective learning for humans is to ensure there is a fun factor.  It’s about getting their buy-in up front, but more importantly, lightening up your approach to training, which is paramount to sustaining your training efforts.  Naturally, we remember things if we found the experience to be entertaining and had a few laughs along the way. 

Well, at Graff Retail, we’ve been packing the fun factor into our training solutions for years!  If you’ve had the opportunity to hear Kevin Graff speak at a retail conference, one of our famous workshops or in our online training videos in the past, I guarantee you laughed a lot while you learned!  And, this year as we grow and improve our training solutions even further, we are still having our own fun as we develop the latest and greatest in micro-learning solutions for our retailers. 

We have recently developed a very customized sales training solution for the retail liquor industry…so that’s certainly fun all on its own!  This time around, included in the great training content was attention to the need for short and sweet, bite-sized moments of training.  The turn to micro-learning is inevitable in our fast-moving world, but these quick moments are also super fun AND will soon be delivered over a custom app right in the palm of your hand!  This not only satisfies our shorter attention spans, but also paves the way for some seriously sustainable training with sales teams out on the floor. 

We are very excited to launch our new app this fall; for the retail liquor industry and beyond!  We can’t share too much with you just yet, but in the meantime, check out a behind-the-scenes video of the Graff Team on location…this proves we know how to have fun for sure!
